| RushWade2's award-winning photography and digital imaging studio has a unique history. Consisting of a team of photographers, digital artists, and producers, the studio continues to grow and expand new capabilities.
Digital artist Judy Rush pioneered transparency retouching techniques in the Midwest during the 1970s and later spearheaded national trends by transferring to digital process in 1988. Throughout the 1990s, Rush established a formidable reputation in the photography and advertising world for her digital imaging skills.
Rush joined with two innovative photographers, brothers Lindsey and Lyndon Wade, to develop a full-service photography and digital imaging studio in 1999. Merging experience, vigor and fresh ideas, the newly formed RushWade2 planted roots in a 15,000 square foot space in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District. James Meierotto joined the Wades as RW2’s third photographer in 2006.
The studio’s fully equipped digital imaging and production departments allow the studio to produce highly complex images while maintaining image control and consistency.
RW2's work has been published multiple times in Communication Arts, Archive, Graphis, Photo District News, PEI, Alternative Pick and routinely honored at national, regional, and local Addy's, both Wades were ranked as two of the top 12 US photographers by The Eisner Museum in 2005.
